Hey 99 deff pk thanks for your interest in the server. Robert and I actually have the server up and running right now add me on discord if you see this and I'll send you a link to the client. Thinking about getting it going again. Messing around with it for the nostalgia at the moment.

Hello! I'm a relatively new player. I was wondering if there's any slayer monsters that drop keys more than the rest? Because I've been trying to get keys, but I've only been able to get 3 from the thousands of monsters I've killed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Due to some annoying issues with players using cheat clients I have blocked any cheat client from connecting. You'll have to download the new client  here in order to log in.

~~~~The Beginner's guide to Kaelenscape~~~~
If you're having trouble figure out what to do first, then you've come to the right place!
This guide will be covering some simple things like money making (This'll be stupid long), where the teleports take you, starting items, training areas, and so on. If I have fogotten anything important, that you notice, please let me know so I can fix it.
~~~~Starting Gear/Items~~~~

As you can tell, from these pictures, you start off with an iron scimmy, 100k gold, pirate's hat, Glory t, Zammy cape, mith gloves, ghostly top, bottoms and mage boots.  These items aren't exactly "top teir" items, but they will help you set off on your adventure to get better gear.

~~~~Starting Zone~~~~
This is the area that you first start in. You can find most of your decorative armor here. You can also find some weapons, potions, bows, and all that other lovely stuff here. Note: You will not find any crafting gear here. Also, you will not find any bones in the shops. You will have to collect them as you kill monsters, or you will never be able to train prayer.
~~~~Teleporting~~~~

There are a few teleports that need to be noted:

~Home Teleport~

This teleport will take you back to the starting area, no matter where you are. Mind you, that doesn't include if you go into 20+ wild. If you go into that deep wild and try to teleport home you won't be able to.

~Monster Teleport~

As you can see, there is a few options when choosing this teleport. Low train, med train, high train, dragon's lair, and slayer tower. Each little place has it's way of training, and I will be covering that. Please note, I am not saying you have to train in these spots. There are multiple places you can train. However, for the better outcomes you'll want to train in these places, instead of going to Godwars, at level 3, and trying to level off of hell hounds Tongue.

Low train is where you're going to want to start off. This is where you're going to find most of your low leveled monsters. They are easy to kill, and drop rune items and what not. They do drop them often, so once you start getting extra items you can start selling them for extra cash Wink. Med train is probably best to start in around level 70. That way you have some decent armor, which will help you hold your own in this place. You will still need some food in order to keep your health up, but you probably won't even get hit that much with rune armor. Once you hit level 95 - 100 you can start training here without a worry in the world. Not a whole lot drops from these guys, but the Troll Generals do drop run defenders. Other than that nothing else really notable drops, so you may as well drop them into a general store. Now to move onto the Dragon's Lair Teleport.

The next teleport, Dragon's Lair, is a more difficult zone. There is a shop keeper there, who will sell anti fire shields, so be sure to buy his stuff. If you decide to go in there without an anti fire shield then expect to die really fast. Other than that, these guys drop dragon bones to train prayer and dragon hide to train your crafting. So, be sure to pick this stuff up if you want to train prayer and crafting for free. The "Metal" dragons are near the middle of the room and should not be messed with until you are ~110. They hit hard, and they will do it continuously. Now that we got all of this out of the way let's move onto Slayer Tower.

Slayer tower is the final teleport on the monster teleport. This is where you're going to go to train your slayer level, and earn items through completing tasks. Notice the 3 portals? Well, you're going to be using those to get to certain areas, where the slayer monsters reside. Level 1 is where all the easy low level slayer monsters are. They don't drop anything worthwhile, but if they become your task it's a quick and easy point gainer. Leve 2 is where Bloodvelds, Infernal Mages, and Dust Devils are. These guys drop some more notable things, especially dust devils. These guys are a little tougher than level 1, but they're still really good when it comes to slayer tasks. You can knock em out pretty fast. Now, the last and final level. Level 3 is where you're going to get all of your bad ass drops, slayer wise. D bows, Abyssal whips, rune boots, and defenders. All these items are very good and will cost you less money if you decide to invest into slayer. The drops are pretty rare, but not to the point where you're there for 6 hours with no drop. So, be sure to pick up everything and sell them to other players to earn some easy cash that way Wink.

~Skill Island Teleport~

This is where you're going to go to train your skills/make money. I will go into this a little more in depth in the money making guide. So, if you're just interested in figuring out how to make money, scroll down to money making.

~Minigame Teleport~

This is where you will go to get certain items. For example, you can go to barrows and attempt to get barrows armor. Note: Barrows is only for people with a minimum of 43 pray. That or really high melee stats and an Sgs. You should not be attempting this place when you first start out.  Duel arena is also listed under minigames. You can go there to stake and what not, if you want. However, remember when you start losing a lot of money you may just want to walk away :p. Pest control (Pc) is also listed under this, however, I really don't recommend taking this teleport until you have better gear. It's not dangerous, but if someone joins in the middle of your game the portals respawn.

~Boss Teleport~

This is a teleport for people that have decent gear, and some friends. You go here to get the good loot. For example, bandos, saradomin, armadyl, zamorak, and some others.

~PK Teleport~

This is the teleport you take to go face other players. However, it is always better to go here after you get more decent items, so you can land some kills Wink.

~~~~Money Making~~~~
There are many ways to make money, in Kaelenscape. However, there is a few ways that are better than others. Skill island is going to be your best bet until you can go and kill bosses. Farming, Herblore, Mining, smithing, crafting, woodcutting, and so on. These are all good ways to make money when you're first starting out in Kaelenscape. So, pick a skill and start trucking away!
~Herblore/Farming~
With herblore and farming you will be buying guam seeds, to start off. After you buy the guam seeds you'll want to plant them in the farming patch. Then you'll pick the herbs out and finally clean them. Once the herbs are cleaned you can sell them back to the shop for a 3k+ profit per seed. You'll also be getting farming experience and herblore experience. Do not make the herbs into potions. We haven't changed the shop potions prices yet, so if you make them you'll be losing all of your money!
~Crafting~
Crafting will be another good money maker. You'll want to go to the crafting shop and buy a chisel. Once you get the chisel just start buying the gems and crafting them into necklaces. Each necklace will be a 500gp+ profit per. However, you will be able to make a bigger profit once you hit onyx gems. If I remember correctly you get a 100k - 500k profit per fury made. Another neat fact is that you don't have to worry about enchanting your necklaces. They will come out already enchanted. So that's even less money spent making money Wink.
~Runecrafting~
Like in the actual RS servers RCing is the second best money maker. You basically just get your ess, pouches, and then you're on your way to making a profit.  You will immediately make a profit, even when crafting airs. Now, to get to start rcing you have to go to skill island, obviously, but then there's an NPC named "Mage of Zamorak" there. You will be talking to this guy to get your pouches and Essence. After you trade him, and buy your pouches and ess, fill up your pouche(s) and then go talk to him. He will teleport you to a place known as the "Abyss". Once in the abyss you'll want to look for the RC spot you want to train at. So, if you want to craft airs, look for the air symbol. After you find the synbol you're looking for, click on it and it will take you to the desired alter.
Once you get the alter simply click on it, empty your pouche(s), and craft the last of your ess. After that, take the portal back to skill island and rebank. It's as simple as that, and it is extremely fast and easy.
NOT FINISHED! I will be back in a few to continue
